In 2017 and 2020, the Hong Kong SAR government unveiled the "Hong Kong Smart City Blueprint" and "Blueprint 2.0," respectively, outlining over 200 initiatives across six key areas: "Smart Mobility," "Smart Living," "Smart Environment," "Smart Citizens," "Smart Government," and "Smart Economy." Many of these initiatives have now been integrated into the daily lives of citizens.
Derek Ng, the founder of Parami and EDU A.I., recently appeared on RTHK’s "Hong Kong Connection" program to discuss the role of artificial intelligence as a teaching tool. In the program, Derek highlighted that future developments will increasingly rely on AI technology. AI is expected to handle many repetitive and essential tasks, making next-generation learning technologies indispensable.
