Recently, we offered a valuable internship opportunity to a secondary student from the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, reflecting our dedication to youth tech education and opening a door for students into the world of technology.
Today’s secondary students face unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Coding, AI, and chatbot development are no longer distant, high-tech concepts but are becoming integral to daily learning. Parami AI recognizes this and has established EDU A.I. to offer AI courses in schools. In collaboration with schools, we provide students with practical learning experiences. Our belief is simple: continuous nurturing and guidance of young talent are key to driving industry growth and innovation, particularly in Hong Kong’s thriving tech industry.
One of these passionate young students is Lam, a Form Six student with a strong interest in technology. Having participated in our AI and Big Data course, Lam was invited to apply for Parami AI’s summer internship program. This opportunity not only allowed Lam to put his knowledge into practice but also marked a significant turning point in his life.
During the multi-week internship at our Science Park office, Lam experienced first-hand the real-world applications of AI technology, including chatbots for HK-based companies, and its commercial uses. He was deeply impressed by the experience. “This internship gave me a true understanding of how AI is applied in actual work. I found myself equally interested in technology and business promotion. I’m grateful for this opportunity, as it helped me better understand my interests and pointed me towards my future career path,” said Lam.
Derek Ng, Parami AI’s founder, witnessed the potential of these young minds firsthand. He remarked:
